Research Studios were comissioned to design and produce the opening credits to this highly acclaimed film by the director Michael Mann.
Our solution was a purely typographic one, with each respective credit fading into an imaginary horizon.
This reflected the film’s overall dark mood. We also created many concept designs for the film’s theatrical poster.
